Hello there,
I currently have a 1982 k10 with the 6.2 Detroit diesel. Recently my transfer case started dumping its fluids out and I understand that I need to pull it and either replace the seals, braise a Crack in the housing or something of that sort.
However, some people have mentioned that an NP 205/206 (or one of them) which are chain driven. Will directly bolt up and replace my NP 208. Just wondering that it's like to swap one of the chain driven cases over to a gear driven case?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
