Just joined today to do some research to prep my new project. I am working on restoring and upgrading my grandfathers 1979 C10 Diesel....well Diesel for now. Sat for quite a few years outside, but the frame still looks pretty good. Since I can't get the diesel running again, and I want some more power, I think we are gonna do an engine swap, a slight lowering, and restore/repaint a bit, but keep the factory color scheme.
Wish it was a bit closer so that I could make progress faster, but this is where I'm at after the first 4 day weekend working on it and cleaning it.
