I have been a Ford guy most of my adult life. I now own a 1986 Chevy C30 Custom Deluxe dump truck. The darn thing caught my eye and cried out to me!! I must admit that I didn't need a dump truck, but I don't regret buying it! I just love to drive it around, shifting gears and burning up irreplaceable fossil fuel!! Big ole 454ci engine and it has plenty of power. It does need some attention to the very complex vacuum hose system that is part of the emission system for that year. I am hopeful that forum members will be able to guide me in the direction of replacing the various vacuum hoses, as I figure out this engine and associated system!
