Need help w wiring question:

1985 c10 w newly installed 1990 350
New motor has a delco remy cs130 alternator trying to make sure wired correctly.

I have the thick post going to battery. It has a 4 pin plug connection “PLFS”. Am going to use just the “L” to a switched 12v wire. Would like to Use the old brown alternator wire coming from firewall as it is switched.

Does the original brown alt wire have 47ohm resistance to keep from killing the regular in alternator? I do not have an ohm meter

Any/ all constructive input is appreciated
Thnx

I’ve been fighting with an alternator to starter wiring issue as well, but I think mine has more to do with the fusible links by the starter. Following to see what folks recommend here as some of it may be relevant to my situation.
